Obviously I have too much time in my hands... I did not take part in NaNoWriMo in 2017 (I wrote the first part of the Space Witches series in 2016 with NaNoWriMo). I am writing Nephilim Quest 3 at the moment but sometimes my brains need a break from the story line, so that my subconscious has time to develop the story. Still, I want to write something on those days I am not working on NQ3. So, I figured I'd write something "light" (= not too pre-planned, more pantser-style, and as I like fantasy stories, that's what this will be). I will write it using Wattpad. As the target reader is YA (young adult). This is not edited, so the typos are all mine. So I typed the first part of the story there and just published it. Interesting to see where this story decides to go... :) Who knows, maybe one day this will be a published book.
Elena wakes up one hot summer morning to find bite marks on her neck - and an ancient looking ruby ring on her finger that suspiciously looks like a wedding ring. She has no recollection what could have happened. That morning is the end of what she thought to be a normal life. Her genealogy isn't at all what she thought it was - and she learns she has skills a vampire lord wishes to possess by forcing her into marriage. She has to flee, helped by creatures she never even thought could exist - and all the while she is on the brink of turning into a vampire herself. Her only hope to survive is an ancient potion, a demon and vampire who only wishes to die.
Read the book on Wattpad while I write it.
