Daily Happiness Journal #1

April 13th 2020

to see the world in a grain of sand... little yellow flower

This was the very first Daily Happiness Journal, when I was still wondering what to write about.

Quote of the Day

To see a world in a grain of sand

And heaven in a wild flower

Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand

And eternity in an hour

      - William Blake (Auguries of Innocence)

the little yellow flower

I took this photograph at the end of summer. It was one of the last warm days before autumn. We walked on a sandy road on a rocky island. The sky was getting cloudy and there was a feeling of rain in the air. And then I saw this tiny little yellow flower, searching for the sun.  It reminded me of life.
